The downward spiral of council redundancy costs‏

The FT report that local authorities have warned the Government that its own rules will mean that they will struggle to pay for the redundancies caused by cuts! In England and Wales alone over 100,000 job losses are predicted following last month’s CSR announcement of a 26% cut in revenue funding.
