Tory Government Year Zero – 40,000 public sector jobs to go‏

Former axeman for the Labour Government, Sir Peter Gershon, who now advises the Conservative Party on ‘public sector efficiency’, has outlined proposals for a Tory onslaught on public service workers.

In a FT interview today, the butcher of Whitehall outlines measures to save up to £2bn in the first year of a Cameron Government which could lead to the loss of 40,000 jobs.
