UNISON General Secretary Dave Prentis was one of a broad based platform of speakers. Dave warned all politicians but particularly David Cameron that pensioners and trade unionists would not pay the price of a crisis not of our making.

He said that Gordon Brown needs to think again if he believes hatred of Tories is enough of a reason for people to vote Labour. Britain's unions won't stand for cuts or attacks. To loud cheers Dave proposed that UNISON organise a whip round to pay for the bankers to go!
