The Tory Party's funding by city vultures exposed‏

The Mirror weighs in to the election debate today with an informative piece on donations to the Conservative Party.

It comes as no surprise to find out it is those financiers who pay themselves huge bonuses out of the huge profits they plundered from the unprincipled and reckless speculations, that nearly brought the economy to its knees. This is simply a rake-off to the their true masters, but because it is informal it is perfectly legal.

New Labour claims to be the natural party of business, yet will be forced to appeal to the Unions as the business financiers Mandelson, Brown and Blair fawn over, quietly slide the knife into their backs while, at the same time, happily trousering public aid. The fact that the Conservatives are being supported so heaviliy by bankers, speculators and hedge fund managers is just an unfortunate coincidence. Isn't it?
