Con Dem gerrymandering goes on and on and on....‏

Not content with the kicking first time around by their own MPs the Con Dems are at it again. It seems that even Queen Betty is not immune from persecution when it comes to the vanity of Cameron and Clegg.

The blue boys were defeated by their own MPs and had to drop their outrageous proposals to dump the sovereignty of Parliament by attempting to insist that Parliament would need a 55% majority to be dissolved – such a plain attempt to constitutionally attack Parliament was rightly stopped, not just by Labour MP’s but by some of the more honourable Tories, who saw this as an attack on democracy.

Now it would seem that to save face the blue boys are at it again. This time they have tried to slip in an amendment to a Bill about fixed term parliaments, that would give 14 days grace, even if defeated by a vote of no confidence, to cling to power, before the Queen could be asked to dissolve Parliament or secure a new Prime Minister.

It reflects what we have always suspected; that Cameron believes that he has a privileged right to govern despite his lack of a democratic mandate from the voting public. The irony is that he is a distant cousin of the Queen. It seems even his own relatives are in for a kicking from this bully ….so much for his claims to looking after older people?
