The cuts thirsty right wing think tank the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) is predicting a further £36b cuts from 2011 and claims a £15b shortfall in the cuts announced by Chancellor Alistair Darling earlier this week.
The IFS says whichever party wins the next general election will have to cut 6.4% per year between 2011 and 2014 if they want to protect schools, hospitals and increase overseas aid and claims all of Labour's increase in public spending since it came to power could be unwound by 2018.
