Bruce Kent adds his voice to UNISON's A million voices for change campaign

Respected political campaigner, Bruce Kent has responded to the “add yours” message and added his voice to UNISON’s A Million Voices For Change campaign.

The campaign calls for a fairer society in which people are put before profit and public interest before private greed. As Vice President of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), Mr Kent has stated that the £75 billion allocated to building a replacement for the Trident nuclear weapons system would be better spent on “the real needs of people – just pensions, first class health care, free education at all levels, affordable housing and fair provision for those who cannot find work”.

If you would like to lend your support to the campaign to cancel preparations for a replacement for Trident and instead establish a Nuclear Weapons Convention to ensure the elimination of nuclear weapons worldwide, you can sign the petition at www.ipetitions.com/petition/nuclearweaponsconvention/signatures.html
