Putting Irish unity on the agenda‏

A major conference is taking place, of interest to all UNISON members who want to put Irish unity on the agenda and encourage a debate in Britain, in the context of the Good Friday Agreement of self determination.

Hosted by Sinn Fein it will take place at the TUC Congress House on 20th February next year. With plenaries, seminars and discussions initial speakers include Gerry Adams MP, Dianne Abbott MP, Patricia McKeown, UNISON, Steve Hart Unite, Lord Alf Dubs, Ken Livingstone, Kevin McNamara Agreed Ireland Forum, Cllr Salma Yaqoob, Jon Myles, Andy Pollak Centre for cross border studies, Christine Kinealy writer, Mick Burke Socialist Economic bulletin, Steve Hepburn MP, Prof Paul Brew, Jimmy Kelly Unite, Prof Mary Hickman and more to be announced.
