The Independent on Sunday this week published an article to mark the tenth anniversary of UNISON's groundbreaking decision to commission the Family Budget Union to research a a living wage for London. Subsequently TELCO (The East London Communities Organisation) published Low Pay in East London, charting how low-paid workers are caught between minimum and living wage.

Over the past decade the campaign has gone from strength to strength and today the Living Wage campaign calls for every worker in the country to earn 'enough to provide their family with the essentials of life:'
