Compass Workers strike again - as Company fined for food 'unfit for pigs'!

Why does Southampton General Hospital continue to use Compass Medirest? As hospital cleaners strike for 3 days again this week the Daily Mail prints this story about a patient who won £200 in court after suing them for having to get out of bed and buy his own food:

Last year the Southampton Echo had a picture of Compass food on its front page headlined 'Would you eat this?' Why do the Trust continue to put patients in Southampton through this?

Compass workers are out on strike to win up to 4 years back pay. The Chief Executive Richard Cousins earns £3.4m a year.
