At today's UNISON local government conference - as part of the debatethis morning on personalisation and care work - a moving and powerful film about the privatisation of home care in Norfolk was well received by delegates.
It showed the stark reality of falling service standards and exploitaion of workers when services are put out to the private sector. The film also showed the inspirational work of a group of UNISON members who are fighting to secure improvements in their terms and conditions.
