Today’s FT examines the ease at which employers are obtaining injunctions to overturn industrial action mandates by citing administrative errors in union ballots.
A union lawyer is quoted as saying such injunctions are “the easiest way for employers to attack industrial action”.
The FT points out that although the laws emanate 1980’s Tory legislation they were amended (rather than set aside) by Labour in 2004.
